A terrible photo reportedly taken with the Samsung Galaxy S5 has been sent to frequent leak source evleaks. The contents of the photo are irrelevant because it's just a mass of darkness and noise, so you can't draw any conclusions about the camera quality of Samsung's upcoming phone. What does matter is that the size of the image is 16 megapixels.
Last month, ET News reported that the Samsung Galaxy S5, among other things, would feature a 20-megapixel camera. The image posted by evleaks may contradict that report because it is only 16-megapixels, but its common for Samsung camera software to take photos below its maximum resolution. For what it's worth, SamMobile issued its own report weeks ago stating that its sources say the S5 will have a 16-megapixel camera.
The EXIF data from the image puts the model number as the SM-G900V, suggesting that it may be the Verizon variant of the Galaxy S5. The image was likely uploaded to test a software or data connection because it clearly wasn't done to show off the prowess of the camera. .source: evleaks
