Box for iOS has updated its iOS app to include a brand new design, and with the interface changes comes a more headline worthy change - up to 50 GB of free cloud storage available on iOS or the web. In conjunction with the new update, Box has a limited time offer that will bump storage limits to 50 GB, up from the typical 5 to 10 GB. From now until February 15, 2014, anyone who logs out and then logs back into the latest version of the app will see his or her storage increased to 50GB. The offer is not stackable, so it cannot be used with other promotions to exceed the 50GB limit.

The Box iPhone and iPad app has undergone some major changes as well. The design has been changed to make icons more recognizable, load documents or photos in less time, and improve the scrolling and previews of files. More than 100 file types can be stored and opened within the app, including supporting Microsoft Office files. Box can search to locate a file or search within a document to locate specific text. The Box OneCloud has been changed to highlight other apps that can open files stored on Box, and there's now a menu of recommended apps specific to each file type.
