By this time next week, you'll be bombarded with news from the Consumer Electronic Show (CES) in Las Vegas. Based on the clues of this ASUS teaser video, a trio of smartphones from the Taiwanese manufacturer is likely to be among the wave of product announcements.
In the video posted above, ASUS asks, "What's your number?" It shows the 4, 5, and 6, which are likely in reference to smartphone screen sizes. ASUS is best known in North America for its laptops and hybrid tablets, but the company has been selling Padfone devices in Europe and Asia as part of a strategy to improve its mobile market share. Perhaps ASUS plans to have three new smartphones unveiled with a 4-inch, 5-inch, and 6-inch display.
It's unclear if these will be new Padfones that can become tablets with an accessory or are solely smartphones. I'm inclined to guess it's the former. ASUS has already teased a tablet that can be "Green or Blue," which seems to suggest a dual-booting Android and Windows RT tablet. We should know what ASUS has planned January 6 at 12 noon PST when the company goes public with its plans.via: Android Central
