Sprint today announced that it has launched 4G LTE service in 70 new markets today. The company had hoped to rapidly deploy its network in hopes of catching up with larger rivals AT&T and Verizon, and today's events bring Sprint's tally to 300 LTE markets. Sprint already has its eyes on a more advanced tri-band network with its Sprint Spark service, but for now, the company is focusing on getting more customers off its slower 3G service and enhancing the performance for those who are still yet to upgrade to LTE-compatible devices or places where 4G expansion has yet to reach.

Aside from familiar names like Orlando, San Diego, Green Bay, St. Louis, and Birmingham, the launches are mostly in small markets. Here's a list of the newly-added 4G LTE cities and towns with Sprint service.
