Earlier this year, Netflix introduced its Profiles feature to support personalized viewing history and queues for members who share access to their account with other people. Those profiles are now accessible for users viewing Netflix through its Android app.

In the latest update, Profiles behaves exactly like they do on the iOS and web app versions of Netflix. A profile is created for each person who uses Netflix, so John and Jane each have their own subsection that doesn't have suggestions clouded by the viewing choices of their kids Jim and Janet. Every time Netflix is launched for the first time, the user simply taps on his or her profile and begins using Netflix as if they have their own personal account.

Netflix also fixed a few recurring bugs and improved its search function for discovering people and related titles. Download the latest version (3.1.0) here.
