The Nokia Lumia 521 is the best-selling Windows Phone device thanks to its low price. Nokia has decided to once again target the low-end market with the release of the Lumia 525, a slightly more powerful version of its most popular phone.
The Lumia 525 features a glossy plastic back that can be removed for replaceable plates in black, orange, yellow, or white. It has a 4-inch display with increased touch-screen sensitivity, a 1GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB of internal storage, and a microSD slot that supports up to 64GB.
The increase to 1GB of RAM, up from 512MB in previous models, should unlock more power in the device. Nokia has developed the low-price, low-power devices for people who aren't among the most demanding of hardware capabilities, but improving the phone as much as possible and still keeping costs down is always a smart move.
Pricing information has not been released for the Lumia 525 but the phone is confirmed to arrive for buyers in Africa, Middle East, and Asia Pacific.source: Nokia
