Motorola's decision to not sell the Moto G in the US and India until next year is a letdown for anyone who is interested in the Android smartphone. On the bright side, when the phone finally does go on sale in January 2014, it will come pre-loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat.
Mark Randal, SVP of Supply Chain and Operations at Motorola, says that the Moto G will come with Android 4.4 pre-installed when it goes on sale next year. The Moto G currently sold in the UK, Germany, and Brazil has Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. Motorola plans to update those devices to version 4.4 by the end of January. Phones in the second wave of Moto G releases, including the US and India, will already have Android 4.4 KitKat ready.source: Omio
