YouTube Capture is a popular app for iPhone users looking to record videos on their smartphones and post directly to YouTube, and version 2.0 of the app has just been released to the App Store. Capture now offers a few changes to make the app better suited for iOS 7 in terms of performance and appearance, but all compatible iOS devices can take advantage of these new editing features:
- Pause and resume recording
- Stitch together multiple clips into a seamless video
- Rearrange or trim individual clips
- Add a soundtrack from your music collection or Capture's expanded audio library
The update now makes it easier for YouTube users to merge video clips or edit recording prior to uploading to YouTube. It's also a reminder that Google still hasn't released an Android version of capture, despite promising to have an Android version ?soon? after the original release nearly a year ago.
