Most of the stories concerning BlackBerry in recent weeks have been concerning negative issues related to the company, but there's now finally a bit of good news to talk about - the BlackBerry Z30 has a confirmed price and release date for Verizon Wireless.
Verizon today announced that it will be the exclusive carrier for the BlackBerry Z30, the first 5-inch BlackBerry 10 device. The phone will go on sale beginning Thursday, November 12, for $199.99 on a two-year agreement. Verizon Edge customers can get the phone for no money down by adding $22.91 for 24 months and being able to upgrade to new devices sooner. According to Verizon's announcement, the phone will be sold online at VerizonWireless.com.
The BlackBerry Z30 features a 5-inch 720p HD AMOLED display and has Miracast support to mirror activity onto a compatible HD television. The phone also has a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, 2GB of RAM, a 2,880 mAh battery, and BlackBerry 10.2 software.source: Verizon
