Oppo, the upstart Chinese smartphone manufacturer that has made waves in recent months, has announced that it will sell a limited edition of its N1 smartphone running CyanogenMod. Oppo announceed in September that it will release a limited edition of the N1, and today the company confirms that it plans to begin selling the phone next month.

The Oppo N1 features a 5.9-nch HD screen, a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, a 3,610 mAh battery, and a 13-megapixel camera that operates on a swivel that can double as a front-facing camera. The phone will ship running CyanongenMod, the first device ever to have that distinction. It will also include stickers bearing the CM logo and a case specific to the limited edition N1.

Interested N1 buyers are still waiting for definite shipping dates and pricing information. Retailers previously listed the Oppo N1 for 3498 yuan (US $574, GBP 359) but Oppo has not confirmed any details on price for the device.
