The Federal Aviation Administration altered its guidelines last week to permit more use of electronic devices during flights, and Amazon has decided to host a one-day sale that lowers the price of the Kindle, Kindle Fire, and Kindle DX to celebrate. Amazon dropped the price of the Kindle to $59, the Fire HD to $118, and the Fire HDX to $195. Shoppers have until the end of today, November 4, 2013, to enter the code "ThnksFAA" (without quotes) to get 15 percent of Kindle purchases.source: Amazon
