It's been five month since we first laid our eyes and hands on the Samsung Galaxy S4 mini and waited patiently for the scaled-down version of the Galaxy S4 to launch in the U.S. That day will arrive next month, according to a message sent to us by Samsung.

The Samsung Galaxy S4 mini will launch at multiple carriers beginning in November. Exact dates and pricing information has yet to be released, but so far, U.S. Cellular has also sent word that it will offer the Android 4.2 device next month. Carriers will likely share more details as they get closer to launch dates.

The Galaxy S4 mini will offer a smaller and less powerful version of the standard S4. It has a 4.3-inch qHD Super AMOLED display, a 1.7 GHz dual-core processor, a 1,900-mAh battery, an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal storage, and a 64GB micro SD slot.

Additional specs include:

- Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean
- 124.5 x 61.3 x 8.9 mm, 107g
- WiFi 5.0GHz a/b/g/n
- NFC ?Bluetooth v4.0 (LE)
- IR LED (Remote Control)
