Bump, the contact and media sharing app for Android and iOS, has been acquired by Google. Terms of the deal have not been announced but the Bump team has confirmed its sale to Google on it official blog. Bump first rose to prominence as an easy way to share contact details just by tapping two phones together. It eventually branched out into photo sharing and then file transfer between mobile devices and computers. Bump says that it will continue operating as usual "for now," but that's likely to change considering its "stay tuned for future updates" message.
