The long-rumored Nokia Lumia 1520 Windows Phone 8 handset with a 6-inch device is definitely real based on a new set of images and specs leaked to the media. Following the release of press shots of the Lumia 1520, a set of real-world photos have emerged online.

The Verge obtained the photos and received tips about specs related to the device from its source. The Lumia 1520 reportedly has a 6-inch display with a 1080p HD resolution. It also has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 20-megapixel camera, and a microSD slot. These Lumia 1520 specs make the phone seem like a definite upgrade of the current line of Lumia products, which tend to have uniform internal attributes.

Details about the phone are not completely clear. Nokia might have other hardware features yet to be disclosed, and the software is expected to launch with a newer version of Windows Phone that has a long list of enhancements developed by Microsoft and support for larger displays. The Start Screen should allow for wider views and more Live Tiles to accommodate the upgrade in screen size and resolution. AT&T is expected to announce the phone soon.
