We've already seen the LG G2 up close and knew that the phone would launch in the U.S. this month. Now we know exactly when. Verizon Wireless has announced that it will sell the G2 beginning next week, and its model of the phone will have something that others do not.
Only the LG G2 sold by Verizon will have wireless charging built-in. Buyers will be able to place the phone on a compatible pad and instantly begin recharging the device's 3,000 mAh battery. The phone will otherwise be the same device unveiled last month. It has a 5.2-inch full HD display, a 13-megapixel camera with enhanced OIS for stable photos, and a 2.2 GHz quad-core processor.
Verizon will sell the G2 for $199.99 when purchased on a two-year agreement. The device will be sold online in stores starting September 12.
