The latest version of Gmail for iOS has enhanced the way that the email app sends attachments and visits links related to other Google applications. Gmail version 2.4 now has a full-screen view with large thumbnails when attaching a file. It also recognizes when a link in incoming messages goes to Google Drive files or Google+ links. Rather than open in Safari or Chrome, the iPhone will go directly to Google+ or Drive.
