Staying true to its habit of updating mobile apps en masse, Google has followed recent changes to Maps and Keep with an update to Google Now. The latest version adds several new cards for tracking accounts and personal entertainment.

The Google Search app for Android is updating today with new Google Now cards for tracking receipts and for some purchases. Reservation information at car rental companies will now appear to complete the trifecta of having flight, car, and hotel receipts all appear in Google Now when someone travels. The app also stores event tickets for concerts. Once the buyer arrives at the venue, Google Now will display ticket information and notices about upcoming events at the concert venue.

Sports and TV fans will now be able to see live scores from NCAA football teams. The football card was added earlier this year for news tracking, and scores have been added in time for the upcoming season. Television viewers will be able to tap a button for Google to "listen to TV" and figure out what show is being watched. Google Now will then provide information about the show - cast, news, etc. - if viewers want to learn more.

Google has also improved transit settings. Public transit riders will now be notified about the last train or bus to their home for the night. There's also a new option to share location with others to notify them when leaving work.
