BlackBerry is looking for a buyer for the company, but until then, the company will still needs to make big moves to find buyers for its phones. The BlackBerry Z30, which may be heading to AT&T later this year as one of the devices to help bring in new customers, has appeared in a lengthy hands-on video. Vietnamese website Cellphone S has posted a nearly six minute video showcasing the BlackBerry Z30, previously leaked in photographs as the BlackBerry A10. At least one carrier is likely to offer the device in the U.S. because the Z30 shows an AT&T logo on the back of the phone.
The video is recorded in Vietnamese but the accompanying blog post reveals some important details about the Z30 specs, including a:
- 5-inch AMOLED with 720p resolution (295ppi)
- 1.7 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor
- 2GB RAM, 16GB internal memory, microSD
- BlackBerry 10.2 operating system
- 2,800 mAh battery
- 8-megapixel camera with LED Flash
- 2-megapixel front-facing camera
- HDMI-out connectivity
The physical build of the Z30 is a mixture of the BlackBerry Z10 and Q10. It has an enlarged rectangular shape similar to the Z10 but a glass weave material on the rear battery door reminiscent of the Q10. There's also a continuation of the silver accent buttons and borders along the phone's exterior. Here's a video showcasing the device.
