Samsung was rumored to have selected September 4 as the date to unveil the Galaxy Note III, and the Korean manufacturer has now confirmed that it will continue its streak of launching a large smartphone with stylus at the IFA Berlin trade show. Samsung today has sent out invitations for its next Samsung Unpacked event, and the company has made it painfully obvious what to expect when the curtains go up next month.
The invitation shows the Unpacked logo in multiple colors that looks like it was drawn with some kind of artistic utensil. I'll go out on a limb and say perhaps it might have been an S Pen. It then has another box that says "Note the Date?" to reference the Galaxy Note.
Now that Samsung has made it obvious we will see a new Galaxy Note III on the rumored date, we have to wonder if the other whispers from last week might be true as well. Asia Economic suggested that the Galaxy Note III will have a 5.7-inch AMOLED display, an Exynos 5 Octa processor, and 3GB of RAM. The website also said that Samsung might use that date to launch a new smart watch.
