Google tends to shutdown a handful of products each year. Though it will not add Google Shopping to the list of decommissioned products, the company will cease supporting its Android and iOS price comparison tool, Google Shopper. VP of Google Shopping Sameer Samat has announced that the mobile apps for Shopper will be shutdown August 30. Rather than have standalone price comparison apps, the same information will appear online or within the Google Search apps for iOS and Android. Reviews, product photos, details, and more will be shifted to Google Search.source: Google Commerce
