How many people in the UK have 4G service? EE today revealed that the number of mobile subscribers who have signed up for 4G plans has reached 318,000 in just five months of availability, and the number is on track to reach 1 million customers in 2013. EE, currently the only operator in the UK that delivers 4G, is scheduled to deploy its network far enough to reach 70 percent of the UK's population by the end of the year. The number of total subscribers could reach even higher once O2, Vodafone, and others launch their 4G networks later this year.
