The Samsung Galaxy S 4, the official name now that Samsung has abandoned its Roman numerals of the Galaxy S IV, is here. The leaks have been slow but plentiful in recent weeks, and Samsung today finally made it official with today's launch event at Radio City Music Hall in New York City.

A 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display delivers a high resolution of 1920x1080 (441ppi). It's harder to pinpoint processor information because the Galaxy S 4 will ship with either a 1.9 GHz quad-core processor or a 1.6 GHz octa-core processor depending on the market. The phone also includes 2GB of RAM; 16GB, 32GB, or 64GB of internal storage; a microSD slot that supports up to 64GB; and a powerful 2,600 mAh battery. The camera will have 13 megapixels and LED flash in the rear, and a 2 megapixel front-facing camera capable of shooting Full HD videos.

Samsung spent much of the night highlighting its software. Click here to read a list of the many software features added. Below are some of the marquee Samsung Galaxy S 4 specs for hardware.
