Jawbone, a producer of Bluetooth speaker and earpiece accessories, has begun notifying customers that their accounts may have been compromised because of a recent hack. The Jawbone MyTALK service, which allows users to customize settings and link their Bluetooth products with other services, was hacked and exposed some users' names, email addresses, and encrypted passwords were stolen. Jawbone has not released details of the scale or nature of the hack, but it has disabled passwords for affected accounts until the user changes it. Users should consider updating other accounts or services that may have used the same password.
