AT&T has started another round of 4G LTE network launches today, beginning service of its faster 4G network in five new areas in the Mid Atlantic and South regions of the U.S. With a compatible 4G LTE device - like an Apple iPhone 5, Samsung Galaxy S III, or a Nokia Lumia 920 - customers in the following areas should notice much faster download and upload speeds, as well as improved network coverage:
- Albany, Georgia
- Cecil County, Maryland (including parts of Elkton, North East, and along the I-95 and northeast high-speed train corridor)
- Montgomery County, Pennsylvania (extending into more areas of the county)
- Norfolk, Virginia (also in parts of Portsmouth and Virginia Beach)
- Dalton, Georgia (as well as Calhoun)
