Fourth-place carrier T-Mobile USA is offering smartphone users a chance to access unlimited 4G data without signing up for a contract. T-Mobile today unveiled its Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plans that do not have data caps, overage fees, or two-year agreements.
Customers can pay $70 per month and get unlimited access to T-Mobile's 4G HSPA+ network and end service at any time. The new plans follow T-Mobile's history of offering prepaid plans without an annual contract; however, this marks the first time that T-Mobile has included an option that doesn't limit how much data a prepaid custom can access or caps the amount of 4G data offered. T-Mobile continues to offer tiered service - for instance, the $60 per month plan only permits up to 2GB of data at 4G speeds - but the $70 monthly plan includes unlimited talk, text, and 4G data.
Unlimited Nationwide 4G Data plans are sold without contracts, so customers must pay full retail price for their smartphones. T-Mobile is selling the LG Optimus L9 at $199 to offer an affordable option with the new plans. A limited time offer includes a $50 refill card when purchased online.source: T-Mobile
