Think smarphones are getting too big? Think again. Chinese smartphone developer Huawei has revealed an Android smartphone with a 6.1-inch screen that it will debut next month at the Consumer Electronic Show. The Huawei Ascend Mate recently made a brief appearance at a store in China when Huawei executive Richard Yu gave an in person demonstration. Yu says that the phone has a 361ppi display, and according to earlier rumors, the phone will have a quad-core processor, 4,000 mAh battery, and 9.9mm thickness. Only a few details were captured from the demo because Huawei is saving those tidbits for the official unveiling set to happen at CES next month, but the video does illustrate just how massive a 6.1-inch smartphone can be when held in someone's hands.source: Engadget, via: MobileSyrup
