Fresh off the controversy of its failed attempt to update its Terms of Service, Instagram is trying to placate users with an update to its Android and iPhone apps that includes improved Facebook support and a new filter. Instagram now has a "Mayfair" filter that adds a light purple tint and adjusts the focus of the image. That raises Instagram's total of filters 20.
Members will be able to share their new Mayfair-tinged photos to Facebook more easily thanks to new integration with Instagram's parent company. The latest version of the app can now post Instagram photos to Facebook pages, and Apple iPhone users who are logged into Facebook in iOS 6 can easily link their account to post photos. Instagram also fixed some unnamed bugs and added native support for 25 languages.Download for Android / Apple iOS
