Sprint has slowly marched toward its goal of expanding its 4G LTE network into 130 markets by the end of next year, a long way from the 49 that it has managed to launch already. Sprint has so far launched LTE service in small to mid-size municipalities with comparatively smaller populations than the big cities favored by AT&T and Verizon, but it plans to accelerate the network rollout next year. Following yesterday's launch in Chicago and a handful of surrounding areas, Sprint today announced that the following markets would receive 4G LTE in the "coming months."
