Sprint has flipped the LTE switch in the Chicago metropolitan area. Though the company previously launched 4G LTE service in select Chicagoland markets, the network had not yet reached Chicago proper. Customers in the downtown areas of the Windy City and some surrounding areas should now be able to access faster speeds on their LTE-capable devices like the HTC EVO 4G LTE, Samsung Galaxy S III, or LG Optimus G.source: Sprint
