Amazon Instant Video app arrives for iPhone and iPod touch

Amazon has already released an iPad app to let Amazon Instant Video customers stream movies and television shows, and the app is now available for Apple iPhone and iPod touch users. Amazon Instant Video streams more than 140,000 videos that can be purchased or rented. The app maintains a Watchlist queue, has 30,000 free videos for Amazon Prime members, and has Whispersync to save a user's place when switching between the web, tablet, TV, or iPhone. Amazon Instant Video can also download clips to watch when offline, and is available now for devices running iOS 5 or later.
