Google Drive for Android and iOS adds spreadsheet editing

Google Drive users will be happy to know that they can now create and edit spreadsheets using the Google Drive app for Android and Apple iOS. Google notes that now is a good time to maintain a list of gifts for the holiday shopping season, but Drive can obviously be used just as effectively for work-related purposes, and it supports collaboration between multiple users. The update improves formatting when copying text from one Google document to another. The Android version can now create a home screen shortcut to a specific Drive file or edit text stored within a table.
