Google has announced that it will begin selling the LG Nexus 4 in Google Play later today. After clearing through its stock within minutes of the phone going on sale earlier this month, Google will resume selling unlocked versions of the latest Nexus.
Customers who signed-up to be notified when the phone goes back on sale have been sent emails detailing that the Nexus 4 will be available for purchase beginning at 12 noon PST, which is 3PM ET. The sale will be available only to consumers in the U.S., and the unlocked devices will be compatible with AT&T and T-Mobile's HSPA+ networks.
Anyone interested in purchasing a Nexus 4 would be wise to be near a computer in the minutes before the device goes on sale. The Nexus 4 sold out minutes after its original start time because Google began accepting hours 30 minutes prior to the published start time. Now would be a good time to link a credit card to a Google Wallet account to speed up checkout process.
