Microsoft has made its popular Bing Translator app compatible with Windows Phone 8, allowing users to translate speech or text into several languages. The app can now launch a translator lens that takes a picture of a document or menu and then translates it into the user's native language. Voice recognition enables translating speech, and a live tile helps users learn a new word from a different language each day. Bing Translator is available for free and works with a number of different languages.
