AT&T announced on Tuesday that it would begin selling the Windows Phone 8X by Thanksgiving, but the carrier has shortened the wait time and announced that the Windows Phone 8X will be available November 9. It's unclear why the carrier waited until now to say that it would offer HTC's first Windows Phone 8 device so soon, but a market rep just confirmed that the Windows Phone 8X by HTC will be available online and in stores beginning tomorrow.
The Windows Phone 8X will cost $199 for the 16GB model, which comes in California Blue. The phone has a 4.3-inch 720p HD display, a 1.5 GHz dual-core processor, an 8 megapixel rear camera, a wide-angle 2.1 megapixel front-facing camera, and Beats Audio technology.
The 8GB model of the Windows Phone 8X also has those features, but it has a lower price and an additional color option. AT&T will sell the Windows Phone 8X 8GB model for $99.99 on a two-year agreement. It will also come in California Blue or Limelight, a yellow color for the phone that is available only at AT&T.source: AT&T
