AT&T will begin offering the MiFi Liberate, a mobile hotspot with a 2.8-inch touchscreen, on November 16. AT&T today announced that the Novatel-manufactured mobile hotspot will launch on its 4G LTE network next week for $49.99 on a two-year agreement.
Announced in September as the world's first 4G LTE mobile hotspot with a touchscreen, the MiFi Liberate is a smart MiFi device with data management. The touchscreen allows users to manage connected devices, see battery level and notifications, adjust settings, and monitor how much data they have consumed during a billing period.
The MiFi Liberate has a microSD slot to store files and share through Wi-Fi or DLNA, and offers 11 hours of continuous use. The hotspot can access the AT&T 4G LTE or HSPA+ networks wherever available, and has global certification to operate in more than 200 countries.
