An upcoming update for Apple's iOS software will add the ability to purchase movie tickets using the Siri voice search and command feature. 9to5Mac reports that in iOS 6.1, Siri will be upgraded to support looking up movie showtimes and purchasing tickets through the Fandango app. An iPhone or iPad user would ask Siri to "Buy two tickets for Cloud Atlas at Sunset Place" and Siri would ask the user to select a showtime. If he or she simply said "Buy two tickets for Cloud Atlas," it would offer multiple showtimes at different theaters.
Not all movie theaters and movies will be supported when the feature launches, according to 9to5Mac. Purchasing movie tickets requires that the user lives in the United States, and only participating theaters with a movie ticket icon will be supported. Ticket buying is in beta testing now but is expected to be available to all compatible iPhone and iPad devices when iOS 6.1 is released.source: 9to5Mac
