AT&T was the first carrier to deliver the original Galaxy Note, but it's sequel will be available on four other carriers. Today, two of those carriers confirmed that they are now accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy Note II.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II is now available to pre-order at AT&T. AT&T says the phone with a 5.5-inch screen can be reserved now for the price of $299 on a two-year agreement. Orders placed online are expected to arrive November 6. Interested customers can get more information here.
Verizon customers can also place a pre-order beginning today for $299.99. The difference is that Verizon does not expect to ship the Galaxy Note II until November 27. There's no explanation given for the longer wait time, but it's most likely because the Verizon Galaxy Note II is not ready. Samsung held a launch event in New York City last night and distributed the phone to attending press. Verizon models were sprinkled out through the demo areas, but only the AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint models were given out to attendees, showing that more finishing touches may be necessary on the device. Interested customers can place a pre-order here.
