T-Mobile announced last month that it will begin adjusting its network coverage in select markets that will enable enhanced 4G speeds on its HSPA+ network. Las Vegas was the first city to be updated, and the company announced today that it has completed service adjustments in Kansas City. T-Mobile is refarming its former 2G spectrum to build enhanced HSPA+ coverage and faster speeds on unlocked devices, including the Apple iPhone. Kansas City residents should notice faster downloads, increased signal strength, and better voice coverage at popular locations in the surrounding Jackson, Johnson, and Wyandotte counties. T-Mobile expects to announce more cities with network enhancements later this year.source: T-Mobile
