LG has announced which of its phones models will be first to receive firmware upgrades to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. LG will begin updating select phones next month, starting with the LG Optimus LTE II. The company will then follow with updates for the Optimus G in December, and the Optimus Vu and Optimus Vu II in the first quarter of 2013. All dates are for the Korean market, but rollouts for Asian and European markets should not be too far behind. Carrier-tied models in the U.S. may take longer because they require approval from network operators before the software can be installed on the device.source: LG, via: AndroidCentral
