Samsung today made two big announcements related to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. In addition to confirming that it has started pushing Android 4.1 updates to Galaxy S III devices in Poland today, the Korean manufacturer also confirmed which devices are expected to be updated to Jelly Bean in the coming weeks. Samsung did not announce any specific launch dates for when it will update existing devices to Android's latest software, but it did confirm to The Verge that it will gradually rollout Jelly Bean to new markets. Carrier requirements will likely force North American consumers to wait longer, but European and Asian users should be updated soon.

Samsung also confirmed that 10 phones and 4 tablets will be updated to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean at a later date. Devices slated to receive Android 4.1 include:
- Samsung Galaxy S II
- Samsung Galaxy S II LTE
- Samsung Galaxy Galaxy Note
- Samsung Galaxy S Advance
- Samsung Galaxy Chat
- Samsung Galaxy Ace
- Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus
- Samsung Galaxy S Duos
- Samsung Galaxy Beam
- Samsung Galaxy Mini 2

- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7.0
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus
- Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1
- Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
