Details for the first HTC Windows Phone 8 handset have reportedly leaked, and HTC has only itself to blame for the premature reveal of the HTC Elation. According to a tipster to UbuntuLife, The Taiwanese manufacturer accidentally posted the webpage for the Elation, which has given everyone an early look at the phone set to debut this week.
The HTC Elation looks like an HTC One X that has replaced Android with Windows Phone 8. The rumored specifications of the device, which cannot be verified because HTC allegedly removed the page, are reminiscent of other devices released this year. The phone has a 4.7-inch super LCD display with 1280x720 resolution. It also has a 1.4 GHZ dual-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage, an 8 megapixel camera, and a 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera. A screenshot of the supposed page reveals the rest of the specs, but we won't be able to confirm any details until HTC debuts its Windows Phone 8 handset at an event in New York City on Wednesday September 19.source: UbuntuLife, via: WMPowerUser
