Video calling and messaging app Viber has surpassed the 100 million-user milestone. To celebrate, the company announced the release of an improved app for five platforms. Viber now delivers free HD video calling and text messaging to users on the S40, Symbian, and Bada platforms. It also has redesigned the Windows Phone 7 app to have those features and group messaging on Nokia Windows Phone handsets. Not wanting to leave iPhone users out, the company also announced an update that localizes Viber for the following languages: Arabic, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, French, German, Spanish, Russian, Hebrew and Portuguese.
