In March, AT&T pledged to deliver Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich to the Samsung Captivate Glide. The company has made good on that promise today by announcing the availability of Ice Cream Sandwich for the Captivate Glide, which has used Android 2.3 since its release in 2011. The update adds new lock screen features, data management tools, and several interface improvements. Captivate Glide owners can install the new firmware through the Samsung Kies desktop software for MacOS or Windows.
