Motorola CEO Dennis Woodside has announced that Motorola will bring Android 4.1 Jelly Bean to as many devices as possible, and credit users who devices cannot be updated. At a launch event for its new RAZR phones, Woodside stated that Motorola's new devices will be upgraded to Jelly Bean by the end of the year. He also promised that many phones released since 2011 will be upgraded to Android 4.1 Jelly Bean "soon." However, Woodside admitted that some phones will not be able to upgrade to Android 4.1, so Motorola will offer affected consumers a $100 credit towards the purchase of a new phone.
