T-Mobile has announced the release of the T-Mobile Concord, a new device recently added to its portfolio of prepaid phones. The ZTE-manufactured device is compact and lacks features found in most smartphones, but it is low-cost and is a step above the feature phones typically offered to prepaid customers.
The T-Mobile Concord is an entry-level phone designed for first-time smartphone buyers. It has a 3.5-inch touchscreen and a 2 megapixel camera. The phone ships with a standard version of Android 2.3 Gingerbread and the Google Mobile apps suite, including the Google Play Store. The phone is painted with a midnight blue color finish.
The Concord is available now for $99 when paired with a T-Mobile Monthly4G plan, or $99.98 with a Walmart Family Mobile plan. The phone will also be available in Target stores beginning August 26.
