Samsung set to unveil Galaxy Note follow-up later this month

Samsung has confirmed reports that it will announce a successor to the Galaxy Note later this month. A spokesperson for the company told Reuters, "We plan to unveil the next Galaxy Note at the Samsung Mobile Unpacked event in Berlin on August 29." The statement confirms previous reports that a Galaxy Note successor would be unveiled at the IFA trade show in Germany this month. Rumors also suggested that the device might outpace its predecessor with a durable 5.5-inch display and a more powerful processor.
