During yesterday's big unveiling of the new Google Nexus 7 tablet, Google made it seem that the only way to buy one of the new Android 4.1 Jelly Bean devices would be to order it online through the Google Play Store. However, at least for those in the UK, customers will have the option to buy it at a number of retail locations. PC World, Comet, Tesco, and eBuyer are all signed on to offer the 16GB version of the Nexus 7 for 199 GBP starting on July 27. If you are looking for the 8GB model, you will have to go the online route, and it will cost 159 GBP when it starts shipping in mid-July.
