Samsung Galaxy S II |
Last week was a roller coaster ride of emotions for Samsung Galaxy S II owners on AT&T, as the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update was available for a brief time and then pulled by the carrier. AT&T promised that it would be available again soon, and now the carrier has announced that, starting tomorrow, the update can be downloaded by all users. Galaxy S II owners will have to use the Samsung Kies desktop software to apply the update, as it will not be made available over-the-air. AT&T says that Android 4.0 updates for other devices in its lineup (the carrier didn't mention which devices specifically, but we assume the Galaxy S II Skyrocket and the Galaxy Note are among that group) will be coming this summer.
