At the beginning of this month, T-Mobile announced that the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for the Samsung Galaxy S II would be coming today, June 11. Now, the carrier has updated its support documentation to reveal that the update will be available to users at 11 p.m. ET/8 p.m. PT this evening. The Android 4.0 upgrade will not be available as an over-the-air update, so users will need to use the Samsung Kies desktop application on a computer to update their phones. T-Mobile notes that the update will reset the phone's homescreen layout, but user data should remain intact. The update includes the full Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system, Samsung's TouchWiz interface, Wi-Fi calling improvements, and voicemail enhancements.
