T-Mobile UK picks up Sony Xperia U, offers it for free with certain rate plans

Sony Xperia U
T-Mobile UK has announced that it is now offering the Sony Xperia U smartphone for free with with monthly rate plans of 15.50 GBP or higher. The Xperia U was unveiled at Mobile World Congress earlier this year and features a 3.5-inch Reality Display, 1GHz dual-core processor, and 5 megapixel camera. It also sports a unique transparent strip below the screen that changes colors depending on the content on the display. The Xperia U runs Android 2.3 Gingerbread and is available online or in stores.
